Dr. Edsel Ing from the University of Alberta is joining Grant Hardy on The Pulse today, along with his patient Glenn Calverley. Dr. Ing and Glenn are on the show to talk about a piece of software that was developed at the University that may partially restore peripheral vision for people affected by stroke and other brain injuries.
Glenn shares his vision loss journey, and how the use of these glasses has positively affected his vision and life. This software was developed by Dr. Ing, an ophthalmologist for over 25 years, so that he was able to offer his patients another resource after they’ve had a stroke or brain injury.
