Creating mixed-media painted paper has become my favorite hobby.

When you paint paper just for the fun of it (or to explore new artistic techniques/art supplies), you have nothing to lose.

There is no pressure to end up with a finished piece of art.

At best, you’ll end up with a gorgeous piece of hand-painted paper.

At worst, you’ll end up with an interesting piece of collage fodder.

In this video, I share a process I use to create interesting mixed-media painted papers that I use in abstract collage and other creative projects.
