This is my process video for the Shawn Petite 2020 Creative Design Team project. I call it "Mixed Media Mat Board Frame Cherry Blossom." My inspiration was the Shawn Cherry Blossoms stencil and Van Gogh’s almond blossoms. It’s a unique item to alter that adds a lot of impact to your framed pictures. The Cherry Blossom stencil is one of a series of gorgeous stencils just released by Shawn.
In this video, I demonstrate how to take a mat board frame and turn it into a dimensional accent around your framed pieces.
