SOUND VOLUME WARNING. Fun project if you ever want to make a Miwa U9 cutaway. Great for visual aid and can help you understand feedback for when you are picking U9. Over all project time was about 45 min to an hour from start to finish.
Step 1 Cut slots to depth with hacksaw.
Step 2 Chip out thin slices you left in between hacksaw cuts.
Step 3 File to depth and level.
Step 4 Adjust depth slightly to make sure you have no saw digs. More filing.
Step 5 Finish file to take any deep digs out.
Step 6 Deburr edges with needle file.
Step 7 Sand out more file marks. (you can spend lots of time in this step if you so choose)
Step 8 Check all edges, check how happy you are with finish and deburring. Admire your work.

Opnus Memolis is a 14 lever lock. With a mix of tapered and false gated levers. Much like Opnus mmxii. Has a rekeying function. Picking process is similar, however memolis is more like a dimple layout and has some warding making it a little more challenging IMHO. One of the hardest locks I have picked. Miwa Pr is Japanese lever lock similar to Miwa U9. It has 11 levers and the false gates are a little less aggressive then U9. Each lever has true gate, false gate, serrations, and flat spots that have a tendency to act tapered. Picks like a dimple lock mostly. Thanks for watching feel free to like comment and subscribe

Fichet 666 in this example is a 7 levers and didnt feel like it had any false gates. Picking was rather straight forward.

Todays example is a keyless Vachette Radial with 23 pins in many rows (technically 8). All the driver pins are standard so much of the difficulty is in navigation and testing elements. Over set traps on key pins and the do like to over set easily. Gutting these locks is not for t he faint of heart btw lol. Cheers and thanks for stopping by

This example of Kaba Matrix has 16 pins in 3 rows. 5 pins on top, 5 on left and 6 on right. Left and right rows are at an angle. The right side has T pins. Easy to over set like most kaba. Thanks for watching and cheers.
