When Mitch Calder first caught a glimpse of a Haines Hunter 600R online, he knew he had to have one. Just two weeks later, he was the proud owner of one… although it needed a fair bit of love. Fast forward four and a half years, and it's been transformed with a full Thermolite rebuild, a fresh gelcoat respray, a new Furuno fit-out, and a 225HP Mercury ProXS. The result is one of the sexiest classic hulls cruising the Exmouth coastline. If Lightning McQueen was a boat, he'd be Mitch's 600R.
