Missoula County commissioners approved a new plan for handling feral horses in the Miller Creek area.
At the meeting Tuesday, officials thanked the community for their input throughout the process, after receiving hundreds of comments.
The final resolution allows the county to use birth control to manage herd size in residential areas and to install warning signs, while also clarifying the process private landowners can take to capture them.
