Khafre, Inc in conjunction with Mississippi Valley State University present an inaugural "Cotton Pickers Ball" on MVSU's campus in Belzoni, October 12, 2012, at 6pm. The event begins with an ancestral pray circle, African drumming ritual with Kiran Gandhi and candle light vigil on the lake just in front of the Harrison Auditorium and Gymnasium complex. The participants will proceed to the Harrison Auditorium for the first annual Cotton Pickers Ball. The Cotton Pickers Ball features world-renowned, North Carolina-based gospel/blues singer Lacee and band.
