On March 2nd 2026, Sam Carling MP raised our 'Mission and Misogyny' report during an adjournment debate on safeguarding in small religious organisations. He also highlighted the recent case of the charity Green Lane Masjid, which in December hosted a sermon saying a man can physically discipline his wife if she is rebellious. Jess Phillips MP said she will follow up on these issues with the Charity Commission.
