It came eventually! I'm finally taking a look at the Arrma Fireteam 6S Brushless Assault Vehicle. This is a 1/7th scale side by side off-road with a four seat configuration, with four heavily armed men ready to attack any type of terrain! This thing looks futuristic, straight out of a video game like Call Of Duty, Halo, Gears of War or even Metal Gear Solid, if that still rings a bell. There is a molded cage, a lot of body panels and detail throughout to ensure there is plenty to look at while seeing this thing up close. Underneath it's a mix of tried and trusted ingredients: a Mohave chassis plate and spine, the Spektrum 6S brushless system and 1/8th scale setup with the additional high speed pinion, and Kraton A-arms to connect the run flat style tactical wheels to all this beefiness.

San Francisco, California, right under the towering heights of the Golden Gate Bridge, with in the distance the faint contours of Alcatraz, the most notorious prison in history. If anything makes for a great post apocalyptic backdrop, it is this type of scenery. I took the UltraFord Axial RR10 Bomber for a spin, kick up roosts, clouds of dust, the suspension soaking up the jumps. This Rock Racer never ceases to amaze me with its capabilities and the amount of abuse it takes.
Powered by a Castle Creations Mamba X, combined with a Castle 1406 3800kV Slate Series motor, it has tons of torque and speed, the Vanquish Method rims transferring all the power to the insanely grippy Proline Hyrax 2.2 tires. And of course rocking the classic Proline Ford F100 SCX10 Honcho body.
