Michael Sinnott Jr went missing after purchasing a 15 ft dock line from Home Depot and grabbing Burger King. That evening he drove towards the Great Swamp where he had recently tried to get a gun permit and had not passed the test missing it by 1 point. He recently had put a downpayment on a weapon at Walmart but couldn't pick it up with out his pink card from the state of RI for hunter and gun safety course.

Michael that evening on Friday June 13th was seen by police at 2 am in the Post office parking lot and was questioned by South Kingstown Police and was allowed to leave after a lengthy conversation where "Mikey" stated he was a Grub Hub driver and was trying to find an address at 2am Michael was not actually working. Michael drove away and was never seen again.

On Monday DEM officials found Michaels car in the Great Swamp, a 1000 plus acre Wildlife Refuge and State Park where once there was the Great Swamp Massacre in which the Narragansett Indians were encamped in the Great Swamp and were all but decimated by a local Militia. The Great Swamp was also a military landing and storage base for amphibious planes and there are remnants of the base in the swamp.

On the DEM wall there was a poster of a missing white sheep. (from what I was told) Was this why Michael went in there at 2am? Michael had been reading the Bible and suffered from Schizophrenia and had told his parents and family "to love each other " in the days leading up to his disappearance. Michael was not on his medications and was under the stress of not passing the test and he was not in his right mind at the time of his disappearance .

Often times people go missing when they can't or don't comprehend the dangers, such as hypothermia. Michael entered that forest and swamp in 40 down to 30 degree temperatures and the wind was howling and the rain was coming down heavily.

Michael left the window of his car rolled down 1/4 of the way and left his food and drinks and only took his back pack into the woods with his rope which was in the bag from Home Depot.
