A California family has been reunited with its missing dog nearly a month after she disappeared, thanks to barks that led animal services officers to a storm drain.

Teddy, a 7-year-old Maltipoo, disappeared July 23 after a side gate was accidentally left unlocked while being repaired, according to her owner, Daniela Chavez:
