The woman that became Miss Whisper was originally an executive of Aevum Laboratories. After Black Sun discovered Vampirism, Miss Whisper and the other executives performed experiments on themselves and became the Vampire Gods. They then created an army of Vampires, placing themselves at the top of the hierachy. To consolidate their power, the Vampire Gods took over the town of Redfall.

This Vampire God gave Jacob his vampiric eye and in turn his Raven companion. She attacked and slaughtered his Bellwether group beforehand.
