Miss Univers est un concours international de beauté féminine réservé aux femmes de 18 à 28 ans. Fondé en 1952 par la compagnie californienne de vêtement Pacific Mills, il est organisé par WME/IMG depuis 2015. Selon un rituel bien rodé, les jeunes femmes défilent d'abord en maillot de bain, puis en robe de soirée et se prêtent au jeu des questions-réponses avec les juges (des célébrités, des personnalités du show-business, etc.).
Miss Universe is an annual international beauty pageant that is run by the American based Miss Universe Organization.It airs in more than 190 countries worldwide and seen by more than half a billion people annually.Along with Miss World, Miss International, and Miss Earth, Miss Universe is one of the Big Four international beauty pageants.
The Miss Universe Organization and the brand are currently owned, along with Miss USA and Miss Teen USA, by WME/IMG talent agency.
The current Miss Universe is Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa who was crowned on 27 November 2017 in Las Vegas.
