A brief introduction to Mirror Mirror: Reflections on Design at Chatsworth, our new exhibition in the house and garden until 1 October 2023.
Original works by 16 international designers are on display, continuing Chatsworth’s 500-year legacy of championing contemporary creativity and innovation. Despite the centuries between them, Mirror Mirror explores connections between the new works and the historic spaces and pieces in our collection. We can take the works at face value, or delve deeper to discover their purpose as catalysts for important conversations on sustainability, humanity, globalisation, and climate change.
