This is NOT my video, I repeat, NOT mine. It belongs to a great editor and friend of mine named pink haze! I am uploading this here because she does not have a youtube account and needs more people to watch her awesome vids!
So a while back, pink haze gave me a beta of an AMV she was working. I watched it and absolutely fell in love with it. So much that I was interested in both anime and song, and decided to pick them both up. XD

Once I had pages to write here, but it seems fitting to strike straight to the heart of the matter.
I wanted to make the comprehensive Casshern Sins music video, to represent its fundamentals, undiminished, unabbreviated and undigested. Here I sought to capture its soul.
Spoiler warning for the first two or three episodes. Beyond that its pretty harmlessly abstract.
It doesnt matter how much or little you know about Casshern Sins.
If youve never heard of it, please enjoy the pretty colors. If youve read the back of the box, youll prolly pick up the general theme. If youve seen it, feel free to follow the story. And if youre a love-struck enthusiast and/or some kind of crazy literary critic, take a crack at interpreting the myriad of symbols and motifs.

As for the quote at the end of the video, the profound truth that, sadly, certain characters never manage to grasp, spoken by a child (thats irony for you): If you dont already know whats being said, you dont need to know.

So...I heard this song a long time ago and always wanted to edit it... but I could not find a good anime to fit it...until one day, while watching my friend moezy make her CCS AMVs, I said...oh DUH, CCS could totally fit. I had yet to see a single action CCS AMV...so I wanted to make a full fledged action AMV using the action scenes in CCS, since it seems not alot of people use those scenes.
Alas, after 6 months of editing, its finally done. I wanted to try new effects and experimented with those effects, so I hope you enjoy. Editing this was hell itself, but Im pretty satisfied with the result. There are a few things I could have fixed better...but....I dont want to tweak this AMV anymore than I already have.
As for the name, I thought it could serve as a nice little double meaning on the Star magic Sakura uses and the song... (as well as a lolz trick for the game of the same name).

Finally done....I started this video months ago and then kind of lost the will to edit it when it was about 80% done. I got my editing feel back, so I decided to finish it. My first Railgun amv with my favorite female character, Mikoto Misaka. I first heard this song on my friend Moezys Shadows video and fell in love with it. I thought it fit Misakas Sister arc well.

So I been sitting on this since February...
When I first watched the Greatest Showman, I fell in love with the songs. It was at this time, I had just also finished watching Akagami no Shirayuki-hime or the English title, Snow White with the Red Hair. My friend Chosenexiled and I thought this song fit their relationship extremely well. So I decided to go with it.
I never expected it to become a Finalist in two of the biggest cons [Anime Expo 2018 and Otakon 2018] and even win in one of them! Thanks, everyone!
