Minor 2-5-1 Lines for Jazz Guitar (Using The Diminished 7 Arpeggio)
Each line moves through a 2-5-1 in C minor
Dm7(b5) - G7(b9) - C min6/9
The G7(b9) is expressed with an Ab diminished 7 arpeggio (Ab, B, D, F). This creates a rootless G7(b9) harmony.

From Wikipedia:
Blue Bossa is an instrumental jazz composition by Kenny Dorham. It was introduced on Joe Hendersons 1963 album Page One.[1] A blend of hard bop and bossa nova, the tune was possibly influenced by Dorhams visit to the Rio de Janeiro Jazz Festival in 1961.[2][3] The tune has since been recorded numerous times by different artists, making it a jazz standard.[4]
