Hey humans,
Well...am I turning from a minimalist to a maximalist? What is this 365 day eccentric fashion experiment about? Why am I ditching the minimalist lifestyle? Where will I get all my clothes from? What about sustainability? What about taking care of the earth? What has it done to my confidence? Has it made me more uncomfortable or more confident? What are some of my challenges in this fashion experiment?
All of these questions and more I answer in this video here.
To those sad that I am turning to the world of fashion for this year, no need. Well...you're entitled totally to your own opinion, but it's a little experiment that I want to explore and see if I like it.
And mostly, eccentric fashionistas show me a new level of freedom that you can have internally by ditching any concerns about how people might react to your look.
I admire that. I want to explore and see where it takes me. I am by no means even remotely very eccentric yet, but for a girl that is just beginning on her journey and has been a minimalist for at least the last 8 years, it's already pushing my boundaries.
Note: I haven't purchased anything new in 2021. At the end of 2020 I did buy a few things online (sigh). So if someone tries to pull me up on that, that's why. 2021 - nothing new, only second hand.
