A different kind of challenge run: Minimalist 100%
Part 25 - Mipha's Song
I have no clue why those Guardians are called "blue-eyed Guardians", but that's their official in-game name if you talk to the Zora guard observing them. Regular Guardians also have blue "eyes" so why emphasize on the eye color this way?
At least in German, "blue-eyed" is another way of saying that someone is naive or gullible, but I somehow doubt that the Zora looked at those Guardians and said; "Whelp, look at how naive those are".... maybe "blue-eyed" has yet a different meaning in Japanese as well? Or maybe it is a translation error, or the Malice-infected Guardians were originally going to have a different eye color and the devs just forgot to change the text. I really don't know, but if someone knows more about this, I'd be grateful for more information, because it has been bugging me for a while.
Additional information:
abload.de/img/blue_eyed_guardiansnmf8q.jpeg - This is what the same guard says in the Japanese original, with the red parts (likely) describing the Guardians in question. I can't translate it myself, so if anyone here is able to do so and could point out the differences (apart from the fact that they used one less speech bubble of course) that would be nice.
