The Girl Gone Green | Minimalism 4 years later || Life after Decluttering @TheGirlGoneGreen | Uploaded October 2018 | Updated October 2024, 6 hours ago.
4 years ago, I packed up my bags and moved to France. I found the decluttering process to be life changing and since then I've been " a Minimalist". Today I wanted to share with you some lessons and takeaways I've learned from 4 years of minimalism and creating content about living with less. This is great advice for beginner minimalists. Hopefully this helps you on your simple living journey!
Happy Decluttering
1. No labels. Minimalism is unique to every single person.
2. Minimalism is privilege and you must respect others. Voluntary simplicity is a choice not everyone has the ability to make.
3. A rabbit hole. Be open to the opportunities that will come from minimalism and simple living.
4. Time. Take the extra time you will gain from not shopping and cleaning and invest in YOU. Start your dream business or project.
5. You will need to declutter more than just things. You will have to tackle mental clutter and emotions.
