RFDHobby | Miniature Scratch Built Windows for Wargaming Terrain Buildings - Balsa Wood Window Frames @RFDHobby | Uploaded July 2020 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
This quick wargaming terrain tutorial this week leads in to the larger build I'm preparing to release and covers the process to make your own windows and frames for buildings. These windows could be used in either complete or ruined buildings to give an extra layer of detail and really help bring your terrain up a level. I use readily available 1mm thick sheets of balsa wood found at my local craft store in a packet of 15, trimmed down with a basic craft knife, and glued using standard super glue. These work for any modern or post apocalyptic terrain builds. The larger build I'm currently completing is previewed in this video, and will show some of what to expect with my next video. I hope you enjoy the tutorial, and thanks very much for watching. Please remember to subscribe and hit the like button if you enjoy it. If you have any questions please feel free to leave them in the comments below and I will get back to you.
