We drove from Auckland to Wellington on our mini New Zealand trip in early 2026, and on the way we stopped off at the (don't quote me on this) Te Āpiti Wind Farm, in between Palmerston North and Ashhurst, which featuring some amazing (windy) views of the surrounding area! We see the Wind Mills, Cows, Sheep and more, including a bittersweet memorial to some extinct New Zealand Birds, like the Moa. There's also some bonus footage of Kiwi at Eketāhuna!
