Opening Spring 2027 at Silver Dollar City, Miner's Mountain Express is
a mine-train adventure dug from a true Ozarks story. On the most daring ride down the mountain, families board runaway mine cars and race across the rugged Ozarks terrain of Daredevil Pass in search of a lost entrance to Marvel Cave, dodging rocky obstacles and a flooded mine shaft along the way. The story is rooted in the real-life Marble Cave Mining Company, which operated where Silver Dollar City now stands nearly 145 years ago. The headframe standing over the ride is an authentic working headframe sourced from an actual Missouri mine.
The track hugs the natural contours of the Ozark Mountains and at more than half a mile of track, it is the longest family coaster in the Midwest.
