### Bad Omen
"Bad Omen" is a status effect in Minecraft that players can acquire by killing a Pillager captain. These captains can be identified by their banner, often called an "Ominous Banner." When you kill a Pillager captain, you receive the "Bad Omen" status effect.

### Bad Omen Levels
The "Bad Omen" status effect can stack, meaning that killing additional Pillager captains while already having the effect will increase its level, up to a maximum of Bad Omen V (5). Each level of Bad Omen makes subsequent village raids harder, with more waves and tougher enemies.

### How It Works
- **Acquiring Bad Omen**: To get the Bad Omen effect, you need to kill a Pillager captain.
- **Triggering a Raid**: If you enter a village with the Bad Omen effect active, a raid will start. The difficulty and number of waves of the raid will be influenced by the level of the Bad Omen effect you have.
- **Clearing the Effect**: The Bad Omen effect can be cleared by drinking milk or surviving a raid.

- **Bad Omen II**: This simply refers to having a second-level (or higher) Bad Omen effect, making raids more challenging when entering a village.
