⏱️ The X Clock – A One-Shot Hopper Timer for Minecraft!

Welcome back, Redstoners! Today I’m showing you how to build my patented X Clock — a modified hopper clock that fires only once, instead of looping forever like traditional Redstone clocks. If you’ve ever needed a precise one-shot timer for farms, traps, mini-games, or command circuits… this is the solution!

Quick note for Bedrock users: This X clock timer works on bedrock but you might have to use a different design for your monostable output if you need that because the one I used doesn't work reliably on Bedrock.

In this video, you’ll learn:
✔️ How to build the X Clock from scratch
✔️ How the mechanics behind it work
✔️ How to calculate exactly how many items you need for any time length
✔️ How to create an instant-reset output
✔️ How to convert the clock into a single-pulse timer
✔️ How to chain multiple clocks for longer timers

Whether you're building advanced Redstone machines or just experimenting, this circuit gives you precise control over timing events — from a few seconds to over 4 minutes per clock module, expandable with chained timers!

🧱 Materials Needed
7 Building Blocks
2 Hoppers
1 Redstone Block
2 Comparators
5 Redstone Torches
2 Sticky Pistons
Temporary Blocks (dirt, etc.)
Items for your timer (calculated in the video!)

📐 Timing Formula (Easy Mode!)
To calculate the number of items for your timer:
Number of Seconds × 1.25 = Number of Items

Example:
2 minutes → 120 seconds
120 × 1.25 = 150 items

Maximum time for one module: 4 minutes 16 seconds
(Chaining modules gives MUCH longer timers!)

🔧 What You Can Build with This Clock

• Trap triggers
• Delayed Redstone events
• Mob farm cycles
• Timed piston doors
• Mini-games
• Auto-resetting contraptions
• Anything requiring precise timing!
