Again using the "execute detect" feature, I have created a system to allow users to place elevators anywhere they want in the world. The elevator system also checks to make sure there exists a valid elevator structure in the direction of travel, and that the destination is not blocked. It functions almost exactly like the elevators in the Open Blocks Mod, and works wonderfully.
