Sugar cane is something that almost all survival Minecraft players need. However, it can be tedious to get large quantities of this resource early on, especially when you don't have access to a large variety of different redstone resources. This beginner automatic sugar cane farm requires no observers (so no nether quartz), no sticky pistons, and no honey or slime blocks, which are very hard to get in the early game.
