This video explains the redstone and how it works for the sorter i showed last week. This sorter is different than a multi item sorter, and it is different than a normal single item sorter, it allows for you to sort up to 54 different item types into an empty set of double chests. In my opinion this is the ideal sorter type for a storage room. It does have a few draw backs. It is slower than hopper speed, and is not completely unload safe. it is 2 wide and tile able.
