Here is a great pokemon like plugin where users can capture and use pets to aid them on your server. They will fight, store and even be a mobile beacon. If you purchase the premium version your users can trade pets that they capture.

You can also set HOW your users have to capture the pets and even disable certain mobs from being captured.
