Mods could be coming to Minecraft Xbox One and Minecraft PS4. Finally, 4J have given us a hint at mod support for Minecraft one the consoles. However, we don't know whether they're considering mod support for Minecraft Xbox 360 and Minecraft PS3/PS Vita editions.
This is still speculation and we're still waiting for 4J to just come out and say "we're working on mods" but until then, mods are not confirmed. Many popular mods such as "too many items" are just sooo needed on Minecraft console editions.
