In this video, I will be going over all the new features of the 25w02a snapshot of Minecraft 1.21.5, including the two new pig variants and the birch forest udpate!

The Minecraft 1.21.5 snapshot 25w02a for Minecraft Java edition released today. I will show you all the additions, changes and fixes added to this snapshot! This snapshot adds new leaves block particles to all leaf blocks that did not have particles before to add a layer of immersion to minecraft. Furthermore, there are now three different pig variants: temperate pig, cold pig and warm pig. All three have a slightly different texture. There are two new blocks. Wildflowers can now spawn in birch forests, old growth birch forests and meadows and leaf litter can be found in forests, dark forests and wooded badlands. Both wildflowers and leaf litter can be placed multiple times on the same block to add some variety to their placement!
