In our second look at the new 1.17 update, we focus on Amethyst Geodes, an all-new underground generated structure! These small caves are lined with Amethyst Crystals, which can be broken down into shards and used to craft a spyglass, much like a telescope the spyglass lets you see far into the distance, in a similar way to the Optifine mod. They can also be used to craft tinted glass, an all-new darker variant of glass which lets less light through from the outside.
