LogicalGeekBoy | Minecraft 1.15 Ideas: Blacklight @LogicalGeekBoy | Uploaded 5 years ago | Updated 8 hours ago
In this showcase I'd like to present a new concept: Blacklight. We need better ways to control light in Minecraft! Cubfan135 (from HermitCraft) released a video recently discussing this topic and I'd like to take it a step further.
Blacklight operates just like normal light except that we can't see it. It stops mobs spawning but doesn't affect what the player can see. This gives us more options to create improved atmosphere and immersion in our builds. I often like to create dark builds but I want them to be safe. Blacklight gives us this ability.
This is just a demo to share the idea. It's not totally fully formed but I thought it was worth sharing to spark some discussion.
