Minecraft 1.15 note - guardians require less lava in this version. Use 3 layers instead of 4. Use the world download provided to remove extra layer of lava. Always verify in creative that a particular design works in the version you are building it in before you spend your time in survival.

Also you don't need redstone blocks - you can go back to glass. But you also require extra skirt of blocks since subchunks is not a thing anymore.

We will make guardians great again! in this 14 episode of Fun Farms. Changes in Minecraft 1.12 changed drastically how guardians are affected by blocks around them. This makes all previous guardian farms working at half of their capabilities.

Fix applies to two new behaviours:
- Guardians will now attempt to pathfind back to water even if they don't have connection to it.
- Guardians (and all other entities) will now sink faster if they fall next to solid blocks. It was all non-water blocks before.
