The Key City Mine shaft leads to about 300m of underground development which was exploratory. The shaft is 160 meters deep with two levels and up to 300m of crosscuts. The shaft was sunk at the turn of the century to try and intercept an orebody extension but only hit a zone averaging 2% copper. We take a sample from the dump and explore the immediate area around the mine shaft.
