There is no denying that this upcoming school year will be a “unique” and “interesting” experience. With Covid 19 here and us having to go back to school, I am trying to be positive, while the same time recognizing the reality of the challenges we will be facing when we return to school. One aspect of my program that I will be focusing a lot on is mental health. I want my students to understand what it means to be mindful, and recognize the different feelings they will go through in their everyday lives and ways to deal with those emotions. In this video, I share a book haul with great resources to help my students (and myself) be more mindful and to support our well-being and resilience.
