I started writing this a couple of years back and never finished it. Having not picked up my guitar in 2012, I'm trying to get that "creative spirit" flowing once more, so finished writing the lyrics a week or so ago and recorded it today (I know it's rough, but something's better than nothing right?). Originally titled "Good Fuel", "Mind Fuel" seemed more appropriate.

I choose good fuel for my mind
'Cause we live in the strangest times
I seek truth in all I do
Maybe you should to.
It turns out what I thought was real
Are just waves collapsing in the quantum field
We are sovereign beings of pure energy
Collectively creating our reality.
Well I have witnessed the conspiracy
To turn us all into batteries
A race of slaves for the global elite
Who think of us as nothing more than pieces of meat.
Now I don't want to breach your peace
And I don't want to contract with the police
I've got no intent of causing hurt, harm or loss
And I won't act mischievous whatever your cause.
I know mankind's creativity
Gives us purpose to power us on our journeys
Be true to yourself and just do what you do
'Cause I believe our paths are all of equal value.
I'll always have questions 'cause I don't understand
Your language is symbols which I can't comprehend
Mind's never meet it's all Ego at play
In this theatre of life we must do what we may.
