If you need a M18 battery with extended runtime, then the Milwaukee M18 12AH battery is ideal, but people need to be aware that the battery is considerably heavier than other 18v batteries, so much so that it makes many cordless tools difficult to use with this battery attached, it really unbalances most tools and makes them much more difficult to use. A much better option is just to use more smaller 5AH batteries, unless of course you need the high output for a specific job!
