NorthWoods Engineered | Milwaukee Drill Battery For 12V Depth Finder (Waterproof!) @northwoodsengineered | Uploaded December 2020 | Updated October 2024, 3 hours ago.
In this video, I show how I'm able to use my 18 volt Milwaukee drill battery to run a 12 volt depth finder, or really anything that runs on 12 volts. I also have it all contained in a waterproof bag to keep it protected while fishing or camping.
If anyone needs more direction on the wiring aspect please leave a comment. I mention in the video that the converter goes from 24V to 12, but it also works with 18V input.
See links below for the components I have used here.
DC to DC Converter(18 V to 12): amzn.to/3kOsNbb
Milwaukee Battery Holder: amzn.to/3Fpzhoz
Dry Bag: amzn.to/3qIIuEx
Milwaukee 5AH battery: amzn.to/30vdpsQ
