A tornado watch has been issued for more than 20 Florida counties ahead of Hurricane Milton, according to the National Weather Service. Kim DeNais, a Florida resident currently in Nokomis, says she escaped Hurricane Helene with her husband in ‘neck-deep water’ and lost her home. DeNais said her husband stayed in the storm zone, and she fears for his life.
