Other than that, this was another experiment thingy where I tried to recreate the YMU757 MA 1 sound chip in Furnace. The chip came out in 1999 and was used in mobile devices at the time. Also as far as I know, it had only 4 2OP FM channels with similar parameters to the OPLL’s custom instruments. The way I tried to recreate it was taking 4 OPLL sound chips and using only one channel from each to get custom patches on all channels.
Also if it is as limited as this, then it wins the tournament of the most cost reduced FM chip beating out the VRC7 by missing two of it’s channels lol.
