This month my dad and I headed off to the Alabama Hills near Lone Pine, CA. These hills sit in the shadow of Mt. Whitney. The hills have awesome rocks formations and are home to over 300 arches. Many movies have been shot there.

In this video I wanted to try a few new things. Using our DIY slider I actually used two cameras to shoot a 3D time-lapse sequence. I still am trying to work out how to edit and upload in 3D, but expect to see a 3D sequence soon!

The main arch In this video is Double Arch but is also known as Cyclopes Arch. The arch at the end of the video is Alabama Hills' most famous arch, Mobius Arch.

In the first Milky Way sequence you can see cars driving down the switchbacks coming from Whitney Portal.
