The FINAL NIGHT OF THE CHALLENGE! When I finish my Milky Way Panorama at Natural Bridges National Monument, it will mark the end of 23-Straight Nights of Milky Way Photography! What a crazy month it has been!
June 2018 was an incredibly difficult, fun, exhausting and terrific month of getting out for the Milky Way! The challenge of going out every night is hard enough, making the Milky Way Image interesting and unique each night is WAY harder! Not to mention the moon that eventually gets in your way! Waiting until 3am to capture a Milky Way when you are the most exhausted you have been in a long time...it doesn't work! It took everything I had to keep going that June.
Thanks for being along for the ride! Sorry that it took me nearly TWO YEARS to edit all of these videos! Life & survival can throw some real curve balls at your head and while you are busy ducking new pitches, you feel pretty crummy that you still haven't finished running the bases from the hits you had earlier!
What a journey! Finishing up these 23-Straight Nights closes a chapter and allows me to begin a new one! Hope you will come along for the new ride! :D -Aaron
