Pop Culture HQ | Miley Cyrus explains why TOURING isn't "healthy" for her!! @PopCultureHQ | Uploaded May 2023 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Miley Cyrus recently revealed in an interview with British Vogue that touring may no longer be a part of her future endeavors. The 30-year-old artist, known for hits like "Flowers" and "Wrecking Ball," shared her perspective on touring and the changes she has experienced in her career.

Cyrus made it clear that she not only "can't" tour but also has no desire to do so. In her own words, she questioned, "Do I want to live my life for anyone else’s pleasure or fulfillment other than my own?"

This statement reflects her strong belief in prioritizing personal fulfillment over the expectations of others – something that child actors struggle with as adults.

She is determined to live an authentic life on her own terms.

The pop star, whose last global tour was the successful 2014 Bangerz tour, consisting of over 70 shows across various continents, has since opted for alternative performance experiences.

While she played a few music festival dates last year and made notable appearances on shows like "Saturday Night Live" and the Grammy Awards, she deliberately avoided traditional album tours for her albums "Younger Now," "Plastic Hearts," and her latest release, "Endless Summer Vacation." In the interview, Cyrus shared her perspective on the challenges of performing for large audiences.

She stated, "There's no connection. There's no safety. It's also not natural. It's so isolating because if you're in front of 100,000 people, then you are alone." This insight sheds light on the emotional toll that performing for massive crowds can have, as it creates a sense of disconnection and isolation for the artist.

Miley hinted at her desire to step out of the spotlight and explore different aspects of her life. She mentioned her preference for quieter activities, stating, "You’re more likely to catch me and my friends literally walking through rose gardens or going to a museum. It's not about being self-serious. I’m just evolved."

Miley has evolving priorities and the value she now places on simple joys and personal growth, signal a potential shift away from the intense public scrutiny that accompanies a life in the limelight. Cyrus opened up about her health struggles, sharing that she experiences chronic pain and inflammation, which worsen when she is exposed to excessive stimuli. After attending industry events following the release of her latest album, she noticed a flare-up of her symptoms. This realization prompted her to re-evaluate her lifestyle choices and prioritize self-care over relentless public appearances.

What do you think about Miley prioritizing her mental health over what her fans want???
