Mike Post, best known for composing some of the most iconic TV themes of the 1970s and 80s (and producing one of Van Halen's worst albums), was originally just another hopeful folk singer, hopping from genre to genre.
This is his 1965 debut for Reprise, a sorta pro-Vietnam folk anthem. He would release one more single for Reprise before switching to the producer's seat, where he oversaw a variety of notable acts in the Reprise/Warner stable such as The First Edition, Mason Williams, and Sammy Davis, Jr.

Subminute: Radio were a band formed by 5 High-schoolers from Gig Harbor, Washington. They were Jake Knuth on bass, Mike Lee, Dillon Larkin and Chad Sands on guitar and Ryan Taggart on drums. Larkin sang lead with Lee on backup. The one and only Mary Lou Lord provides backing vocals on track 3. This CD was their only release, on Seattles Y Records label in 1996.
