Exclusive to Classic Rock Magazine: a promo from Vinyl, the comedy film that tells the story of Alarm frontman Mike Peters' successful hoaxing of the music industry. Starring Phil Daniels and Keith Allen, Vinyl is based on what happened when Peters tried to return to the music scene after years away only to find the industry had no interest in 'ageing rockers'. So he manufactured a pop group who mimed his songs - and hit the UK charts.
