Mike Hall was an ultra endurance cyclists, who set the record for the fastest unsupported ride around the world. Winner of the Tour Divide, Trans Am Bike Race, & organiser of the Transcontinental Race.
During his round the world record in 2012, Mike sits in a motel room at the end of his Australian leg, & reflects on his experiences on Australian roads.
Mike was killed in 2017 in the ACT by an Australian driver who failed to overtake at a safe distance, during the Indian Pacific Wheel Race.
Australian Police continue to trivialise dangerous driving around vulnerable road users, show sympathy for drivers & offer excuses on the drivers behalf for their dangerous driving.
WA Police refuse to enforce the minimum passing distance laws introduced in Nov 2017.
