![MIKAYLA NOGUEIRA’S SUNBURN “VANISHES” IN 4 DAYS—THEN SHE TELLS A NURSE “NOT MY PROBLEM
Mikayla Nogueira’s sunburn appeared nearly gone four days later—and she publicly credited Vaseline for the recovery. But when a follower who identified herself as a nurse politely questioned how the dramatic before-and-after timeline made sense, Mikayla’s response was blunt: “Well, that’s not my problem.”
That four-word reply turned a sunburn update into another major Mikayla Nogueira controversy.
The original footage showed Mikayla drawing attention to her irritated skin. Days later, she posted a nearly flawless-looking plane selfie and said her skin was not peeling. Viewers immediately questioned the sudden transformation, the unusually smooth appearance of the photograph and whether Vaseline could reasonably receive all the credit.
Instead of receiving a clear explanation, viewers watched the story become even stranger. Vaseline contacted Mikayla offering a self-care package, Mikayla celebrated the message with “I FEAR I WIN,” comments were disabled, and some of the original posts were later removed.
This is not really about somebody recovering from a sunburn. It is about influencer accountability and what happens when a creator promotes a dramatic product result to millions of followers but treats reasonable questions like personal attacks.
Do you believe Mikayla owed her audience a clearer explanation, or did viewers turn an ordinary recovery into unnecessary TikTok drama? Share your opinion in the comments.
