I did the Steal Grub Nightmare Challenge in the Tower of Dread, now to do it in the more brutal Tower of Despair. In the Tower of Dread, it the challenge wasn't too bad as I had mostly good luck with Steal Grub, but for Despair? Why, it was painful! The challenge mainly came from the ground floor with the six Elite Goblins where it took me nearly ten minutes just to purloin all of them, and the sixth floor with the Dreaded Red Fiend where I was on the brink of losing on two or three occasions. Another reason why The Tower of Despair was brutal was simply because there were more enemies. The Tower of Dread only had 14 enemies to steal from, but the Tower of Despair has 20, making it take extra long just to purloin everyone. Now, I'll go ahead and explain the rules for the Steal Grub Nightmare Challenge, which includes one rule that I didn't mention for the Tower of Dread run.

- Clear the Tower of Dread OR the Tower of Despair
- A Cat must steal food from all enemies in either tower. This includes Ultimate Robot Warriors and Medals, which are summoned by the Calc King and Dark Sun respectively.
- If a boss dies before it has been purloined, the run ends in failure. This doesn't apply to the Ultimate Robot Warriors or Medals as long as they've been purloined before the battle ends.
- You may not bring along the horse or a client from the Travelers' Hub.
- No duplicate jobs allowed.
- Required Job: Cat (preferably the Hero)
- Banned Jobs: Chef and Elf.
- Unique Rule: Since the Boss Snurp and its annoying Juvenile minions don't have any possible food drops, you can do that fight as normal. Just make sure you actually beat the Boss Snurp, otherwise it won't count.

If you decide to do this challenge yourself, it is recommended that you record an uncut video of all eight floors of either tower from start to finish. Recording the replays of each battle is acceptable.
