Today, I soloed a “Traveler” Medusa, and I predicted a very tough match that might take a few attempts, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought. Sure, it’s stare move (that turns you into stone) can be very annoying as it prevents you from moving on the next turn, but hey, it doesn’t do recoil damage to the player, and it only lasts for one turn. This boss was fought at Galados Isle during a level 47 quest, though it can also be fought in the Arid Frontier, Underground Labyrinth, Elven Forest, Karkaton, Ghontu Waste, or the Midland Marsh (all of which are possible locations in a level 47-49 quest).
