Alrighty, it’s been a year and a month since I did my Base Gear Only challenge which involved beating the main story without buying any weapons or clothing. In commemoration of of it being one year since I did Base Gear Only, I decided to do it again while also not being able to eat any food, which also disallowed stat increases from food since me and my teammates can’t eat any. No stat increases from food definitely adds a big difficulty increase, as I needed to grind for a few bosses, such as the General where I had to grind until a Mage of mine reached Level 14 for Mega Explosion, or the “Teammate” Armor where I had to abuse the roulette with a good chance at getting EXP just to stand a chance because of the Spirit Sword. Now, with all this said, I’m recording every single boss fight under those conditions, and I’ll upload an exceptionally long video once I beat the main story. As for now, this is an uncut video of the Dark Lord battle against Thanos the Titan from Avengers, and spoiling this now, the Darker Lord is Luigi (my favorite Mario Character), and he will be the final boss. But for now, I’ll see you when I beat Darker Lord Luigi in Otherworld.
